Cookies and Similar Storage

Cookies are small files your browser sends to the website that set them. Local storage saves information in your browser for later visits; session storage usually lasts for the current tab. This notice covers those technologies and measurement scripts, including tools that can work without cookies.

Essential Technologies

• Sign-in and security: HomeKeep session cookies keep you signed in. The refresh session normally lasts up to seven days; sign-in and role hints may last up to 30 days and can be shared across HomeKeep subdomains. Session renewal or sign-out can change these periods.
• Booking continuity: a checkout cookie can last up to 30 days. Browser session storage can retain an in-progress checkout reference so a payment can be recovered. Rejecting optional cookies does not remove these records.
• Your cookie choice: homekeep_cookie_consent stores the notice version, choice, and expiry in local storage for 180 days. It applies to this website in this browser, rather than every device or browser you use. An expired choice or revised notice may prompt you again.
• Requested third-party features: payment processing, fraud prevention, Google sign-in, and address search may contact their providers when those features are used. The optional-cookie choice does not disable a feature you request or necessary security logging.

Optional Analytics and Advertising

• Google Analytics: when configured, measures visits, referral sources, and website interactions. Google may set identifiers such as _ga and related cookies.
• Google Ads: measures ad-driven visits and conversions and supports advertising personalization. It may use click identifiers and cookies such as _gcl_au or _gcl_aw.
• Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights: measure public-site usage and page performance. These tools may operate without cookies but are included in the same optional choice.

Optional tools can receive device and browser information, page and interaction data, referral information, and network information such as an IP address. Their identifiers and retention periods depend on the provider, configuration, and browser. Google describes its practices in its Privacy Policy and cookie information; Vercel describes its practices in its Privacy Notice.

Changing or Removing Stored Information

Rejection stops future optional measurement from this site and removes known optional Google cookies that this site can access. It does not undo information already received by a provider or remove cookies belonging to another website. You can also clear site data or manage cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may interrupt sign-in or checkout. If your browser prevents us from saving a choice, it may be requested again on a later visit.
